Favourite Position? Half-Forward.
If you could swap one thing with another Canterbury player or member, what would it be? Marcus Cassidy’s twinkle toes.
Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? Craig Lowndes winning Bathurst just after Brocky died.
Hidden talent off the pitch? Spinning tracks on the decks, SEABL Basketball Referee (ret).
Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? Work hard when you’re young, relax when you’re old.
Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? A great club to be around, no matter who you are, great value to be had by all, favourite thing would have to be playing footy with ya mates!

Name? Corey Eames-Mayer.

First club you played at/were member of? Canterbury Cobras.
Favourite Position? Half-Forward.
If you could swap one thing with another Canterbury player or member, what would it be? My age with any player under 25. If I could it wouldn’t hurt to borrow some of Bubba’s muscles, Matt A’s kicking ability and Jake Rowe’s pace.
Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? The first time I sang the Canterbury song after my first win with the club.
Hidden talent off the pitch? I have a really great leap; I hold several box jump records. I also don’t mind busting a move on the d-floor either; this may or may not be hidden or a talent!
Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? Work All men are created equal, some just work harder in pre-season!
Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? Shower time! I think what separates Canterbury is each of the guys we have down at the club have really strong values, we care about each other and are always open and welcoming. I think it’s the type of people at Canterbury that define us as great!

Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? Personal: Kicked Kew’s entire score in a game… 1 point in a 30 goal drumming. Professional: ANZAC Day 2009… ZAAHAARAAAKIS!!!!!!
Hidden talent off the pitch? “Fade-away” beer pong shot.

Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? When Tambling was finally traded.
Hidden talent off the pitch? Drunk texting – flawless.
Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? Never accept mediocrity, because if you do – that’s all you’ll achieve.
Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? 4 km time trial around Anderson Park… or the social side of the club.

Name? Simon Beardall.

Number? 28.

First club you played at/were member of? Canterbury Junior Football Club.

Favourite Position? Half-Forward Flank.

If you could swap one thing with another Canterbury player or member, what would it be? I’m gonna be greedy here, but Jake’s kicking ability, Bubba’s “average” rig, Ana’s leg speed and BGA’s marking/spoiling. I’d then nominate for the next AFL national draft!

Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? Making and playing in the Grand Final with Canterbury in the SFL a few years ago. A few of the older boys understand that we still have some unfinished business to attend to.

Hidden talent off the pitch? I can cook a mean salmon steak/fillet on the BBQ. It has been known to impress the fillies…

Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? Precious few are born with it, even fewer know what to do with it.

Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? The vibe amongst the playing group and our ability to take the mickey out of each other.

Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? Everyone plays purely because they love playing footy, and I love the mateship. It’s a good place to be around.

Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? Taking 8-for in my first season of senior cricket.

Hidden talent off the pitch? I can throw a cricket ball about 100m.

Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? A good player practices until he gets it right, but a great player practices until he can’t get it wrong.

Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? The general nature, very inviting/accepting.

Favourite Position? Half-Forward Flank.

If you could swap one thing with another Canterbury player or member, what would it be? Farmer Mack’s ability to snooze in a bar after a few drinks is commendable!

Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? Winning the Grand Final in Ireland with the South Dublin Swans in 2010 (with David Scott – Coach, Farmer Mack – Full Back, Tall Paul – Ruck and Enda Keena pretending he could kick in the centre).

Hidden talent off the pitch? I can juggle stuff.

Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? CONfucius say – he who learns but does not think, is lost. He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger!

First club you played at/were member of? Belgrave Football Club.

Favourite Position? Forward Pocket, swapping on the ball.

If you could swap one thing with another Canterbury player or member, what would it be? Brent Isles’ goal kicking.

Favourite sporting moment (personal or from a player/team you support)? Favourite footy moment was winning an Under 16s Grand Final. Other than that it would have to be winning back-to-back Grand Finals in the cricket.

Hidden talent off the pitch? A ripping pasta chef! Apart from that I can’t cook much else.

Best piece of advice you’ve never forgotten? It’s better to try and fail, than fail to try.

Your favourite thing about the Canterbury Cobras Football Club? The blokes are great. It’s like playing with 22 of your mates every week.
