The 2013 ball has been confirmed and will be held on the 6th July, at the Manningham Club in Bulleen. This year the event will also coincide with the launch of the 132 year history book of Canterbury, going right back to 1881. Over 2 years in the making, author James Nicolas has filed through hundreds of documents and interviewed many to be able to compile a comprehensive history of the club.

Tickets are $130 for singles or $250 for a double pass. Ticket price covers a 3 course meal and drinks for the evening.

There will be limited numbers of the books available on the night, to ensure you get a copy, contact James Nicolas or Carol Pearce.

The Canterbury Football Club in 2013 is proud to announce an exciting new initiative, a series of four business lunches on Friday’s.

The luncheons will present a notable guest speaker with a fully catered, two course quality meal.

The first of the lunches is on Friday March 22nd from 12pm, at the Canterbury Sports Ground, and the first guest speaker is… TERRY DANIHER – AFL Hall of famer and the eldest of the famous AFL family.

One of the most anticipated events on the 2012 social calendar is coming up, with the Miss Canterbury pageant scheduled in for June 30th after the Park Orchards match.

Along with the club best and fairest, the title of Miss Canterbury is one of the most coveted Canterbury trophies by the players. On the evening, players will tough it out for the tiara, with categories such as swimwear, evening wear, talent, and question time testing  out the most hardened pageant contestant.
